About the role

Oversee the operation and maintenance of 6 community outdoor swimming pools across the Shire. Lead seasonal teams, manage water quality, coordinate facility maintenance, and ensure strict safety compliance. You will drive workforce planning and deliver high-quality, welcoming aquatic spaces.

Duties

  • Lead and support Pool Attendants and seasonal staff across multiple facilities.

  • Direct recruitment, onboarding, training, rostering, and workforce planning.

  • Coordinate daily pool operations, water quality standards, and facility presentation.

  • Manage maintenance programs, operational reporting, cash reconciliations, and admin.

  • Champion WHS, risk management, public safety, and positive community relations.

Skills & experience

  • Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.

  • Background in aquatic facilities, pool operations, or similar environments.

  • Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children Check.

  • Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence.

  • Experience in water quality, pool plant operations, or asset maintenance.
